Slot Die Coating Machine is a new type of high-precision, reliable, and stable extrusion coating machine that our company developed for power lithium batteries.

This equipment features a high-precision vertical plate structure, ensuring stable operation. It utilizes a high-speed computing central controller with a modular design, integrating digital module technology, analog control technology, and unified control technology. An advanced PID tension control system automatically maintains a constant coating tension output.

Equipped with a high-precision extrusion die from Zhongneng, the machine allows fine-tuned adjustments to the coating layer's leading and trailing edge thickness. Additionally, it includes functions such as stop-position retention, automatic fault detection and alert, and self-correction, reducing labor costs and minimizing material waste.

The electrode substrate placed on the unwinding device undergoes automatic correction and PID tension control to adjust the unwinding tension before entering the coating head. The electrode is coated according to the program set by the coating system. The wet electrode then enters the oven, where it is dried by circulating hot air. After drying, the electrode's tension is adjusted by the tension system, which also controls the winding speed to synchronize it with the coating speed. The electrode is automatically corrected by the correction system to maintain its set position and is wound by the winding device.
